where FADJ is the frequency at which the PS signal power is adjusted and limited, and its value should not exceed the limiting value fLIM determined by the frequency range of the limitation and automatic power control units; fPS is the frequency of the PS signal; fL1 is the frequency of the SV signal in the L1 band; f1 and f2 are the frequencies of the local oscillator voltages that are generated in the frequency synthesizer for each PS.

In addition, the fPS values should be in the frequency range of 960–1215 MHz, in which the well-known DME navigation systems, SRNSs, operate. To simplify the implementation of the frequency synthesizer, it is also advisable that the condition: f2 = m f1 is met, where m is an integer.
